Most fights go to the ground. On the ground, a smaller opponent is able to use leverage and positioning to their advantage. This is why Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) primarily focuses on grappling and ground techniques. It is not always the stronger person who has the advantage, but the cool, calm, and strategic fighter who wins the fight. As a student, you will have a blast learning BJJ, developing strength and flexibility, and increasing self-confidence. Our classes are taught in a safe and controlled environment. Youth BJJ teaches the same fundamentals as Adult BJJ (Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu). The main difference is that we teach YBJJ on an age-appropriate level. We believe learning should be fun.

Kickboxing at MAMMA combines the better of two disciplines.

this is REAL Kickboxing not just an aerobics class at your local gym. You will learn how to properly kick and punch by using heavy bags, striking mitts, and partner drills. And, when you’re ready, suit up and enjoy the adrenaline rush of full contact sparring.

the conditioning we do through physical calisthenics will increase your health, flexibility and general cardiovascular strength. The exercise you get from real Kickboxing is second to none.
